Mets:
The Mets dropped the third game of their four-game set with the Marlins, 11-8…They are still 24-13 against the Marlins at Citi Field since 2021…They have scored at least six runs in seven of their last nine games and their 176 runs this calendar month is a franchise record, topping their previous high of 172 runs in June of 1990…Their 176 runs are the second-most in the majors this month but they are 11-16 over that span...They have allowed 151 runs during the month which is the fourth-most in the majors.
They have hit a franchise record 53 homers in the month of August…It topped their previous high of 49 homers in September of 2019 and June of 2017…Their 53 homers are the most in the NL this month and the second-most in the majors.
